Yvonne Frei (Endingen, CH) has been a world traveller for 50 years, an Excellence Award speaker (Mastershausen 2026) and author of the book „Travel – Grow – Live“ (autumn 2026).

Yvonne Frei lives between Endingen in Switzerland and a house in the middle of the Tanzanian wilderness. For fifty years she has been travelling — alone, with family, in a VW bus. In 2026 she was honoured with the Excellence Award at the International Speaker Slam in Mastershausen. Her book „Travel – Grow – Live — Alone through Iran as a woman, without a plan“ comes out in autumn 2026, launching at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Yvonne Frei (CH) is a travel adventurer, speaker and author. She lives between Endingen in Switzerland and a house in the Porini, the wilderness of Tanzania. For fifty years she has been on the road across the globe — alone, with her husband Marcel Frei and partly with their son Raphael. The couple's honeymoon took them across Africa for a year. Together with Stiftung Zuversicht, Yvonne and Marcel Frei have for over ten years supported the development of the „Orthodontic Center of Osh“ in Kyrgyzstan, the region's leading treatment centre for children with cleft lip and palate. In 2026 Yvonne Frei won the Excellence Award at the International Speaker Slam in Mastershausen and was booked for a talk in New York straight afterwards. Her book „Travel – Grow – Live — Alone through Iran as a woman, without a plan“ launches at the Frankfurt Book Fair in autumn 2026.
